After Polishing Windows, moisten a clean rag with a very little glycerine and rub
it over the pane. Windows polished in this way do not “steam” and will stay clean
much longer.
A Cold-Weather Cleaner for Windows - Dampen a cheesecloth with kerosene and you can
clean your windows quickly in cold weather when water can not be applied to the glass
without freezing.
Window Cleaning Help - Before starting to clean windows carefully brush all dust
off the frames. Add a few drops of kerosene to the water used for cleaning and it
will give the glass a much brighter and more crystal-like appearance.
To Clean Windows - First wash the glass with water to which a little ammonia has
